Periodontitis - The silent enemy of your mouth that often deceives even dentists.

Image
The first step in starting to solve a problem is to understand what caused it. I f you are going to read this article, it means that you have noticed one of the symptoms of pyorrhea and you want to know how you can do to solve the problem as quickly as possible. Something interesting that I noticed has been that the average patient when it comes into contact with us, HAS NO IDEA of what caused the loss of his teeth. I imagine that by now you must be asking yourself, "Is it important to know that?" Well it's very simple.  Bleeding gums, tartar on teeth, periodontal pockets, fissured tongue, gums that gradually retract; t hese are just some of the alarm bells that can indicate the development of one of the most devastating diseases of the mouth. If you have ever experienced even one of these symptoms, or if you suspect something, but you are not sure, then read on because I will explain below what are the devastating effects of pyorrhea (also called periodontit...

Why is Dental Tourism it's chosen?

Image
Have you ever thought about choosing a dentist abroad to treat your teeth? Dental tourism, as we have often written in the blog, is a phenomenon that has taken hold for several years now. More and more people are willing to and one of the countries, most chosen by North Americans and Canadians, it's Costa Rica.  It is the desire of many patients, but a fatal mistake is to jump on the first foreign dentist who is online and blindly relies on his care. It is the first step to take: find dentists that operate according to the American Dental Association (ADA) regulations on hygiene, safety, and reliability of tools and materials used.  And Patients must be more cautious now during these times of Pandemia!! In times of crisis like these last nasty pandemic, patients are looking for quality dental services at lower prices than in their own country . In addition, there is the advantage of a holiday abroad, and in this, they see greater benefits: they combine dental c...

Teeth Diseases: The 5 Pains You Should Never Try

Image
I wrote dozens of articles about the dental experience and I realized now that I forgot the first reason people go to the dentist! --- TOOTHACHE! So let's try to explain what can happen to you in your mouth if it goes wrong!  I think that's why you're documenting yourself on the web and reading this article. Basically, the types of toothache for which you go to the dentist in an emergency are 5: Pain from caries near a live nerve Pain from an abscess or acute apical periodontitis Gum pain The pains from cracks in the teeth Muscle pains Ok, two are not Toothache, but I have to write TOOTHACHE often, otherwise you will not find this article when you look on Google for Toothache and so I went ahead because I wrote toothache 4 times in 3 lines. Before talking about toothache (and we are 5 times in 4 lines), however, let's debunk a myth. CAVITIES DON'T HURT ... unless they are very large or that they create a hole in which food can enter, ...

The Importance of a Complete Dental Service

Image
Today I would like to help you to think about the importance of a complete dental service. Often the information about the quality of services we rely on is poor and this causes us to lose huge amounts of time and mental energy. Our brain, in fact, cannot close that chapter but the "file" relating to the service we would like to obtain must remain open until perhaps, one day, we will come to terms with it. Today I'm on vacation because I decided with my wife to use the morning to buy a piece of furniture that she is asking me for a long time. -- Since I already know how it ends up in these cases I don't go directly to the store but, as a shrewd person, I call first to ask if they can provide me with that service. Answer (I swear I'm not kidding !!): "Look ... call our representative (???) so she will tell you what you want to know. I'll give you the number ... " The representative listened to my large explanation on the phone and, in an equ...

Tips to Recognize Quality Dentists!

Image
In a previous article, we saw what can be parameters that you can use to recognize a quality dentist. As I said then, however, these were necessary conditions but not sufficient to determine the high-quality level of a dental practice . How to understand if in addition to a good base there is also a system that generates quality? -- The technical ability of a dentist, which is obviously the most important parameter for a quality study, is perhaps the only parameter that the patient can hardly ever evaluate because it is too technical. Sometimes beautiful facade works hide operational flaws or below the surface. So we try to give a series of additional parameters that are indispensable for me in a modern studio that works with care. This time I have to warn you that I will speak in a subjective way. Many colleagues may not agree with me, maybe just on one or two points, maybe on everyone. I don't want to discredit anyone. In good faith, I want to talk to you about the elemen...
